Do you really need a web designer?

Hi there and thanks for visiting.

Before you ask, no I am not a professional web designer in the true sense of the word, I will not charge a fortune for some text, a few pictures on a standard web template that takes 10 minutes to slap together, nor will I tell you that a web presence is the answer to the credit crunch.

What I will do is try to persuade you that you can actually do your own web site; with the tools that modern software provides, any one who can use a keyboard can make a web site.

 

I will also tell you that a simple web site is a good aid to your business, it puts your name about, shows that you are up to date in your marketing methods and allows people to contact you through the nice anonymous route of e-mail.

 

Believe me, people like to ask questions without having to speak to a salesman either face to face or on the telephone. The first place 70 to 80 % of people turn to for information these days is the web and if you are not there, you miss out!
